Manager- Legal

Purpose of the Role 
 To provide comprehensive legal support to the organization by effectively drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide range of commercial and project-related contracts, including Non-Disclosure Agreements, Sale/Purchase Agreements, Project Agreements, Memoranda of Understanding, and other business contracts. The role is responsible for ensuring legal and regulatory compliance across the organization, managing and monitoring litigation and court matters, protecting the company’s intellectual property rights, and coordinating with external legal consultants and law firms to safeguard the organization’s legal and business interests. 

Job Responsibilities (KRA)

• Drafting of contracts including Project contracts for various business requirements. Should be able to draft Non-Disclosure Agreement, Sale/Purchase Agreement, Project Agreement, Memorandum of Understanding etc. Should have good drafting skills 
•  To effectively handle legal matters in court & maintain updated list of court cases.  
•  To effectively handle Compliances of company. Ensure compliance to all aspects of working of company.   
• Protection of Intellectual Property Rights.   
•  Liasioning with external Consultants/Law Firms.

Job Requirements (KPI)
§  Experience:  10 -12 years   

§  Education:  Bachelor of Law (LLB)

• Strategic Thinking.
• Technically proficient in legal matters.
• Should have in depth knowledge of local and international legal environment.
• Able to analyze legal disputes and issues,  
• Strong Communication skills.
• Should be updated with current laws and able to interpret and implement them in right situations.
• Good advising, monitoring, researching and supervising skills
