Manager/ Sr. Manager -Environment

Purpose of the Role
To ensure effective environmental compliance and regulatory management across the plant by obtaining and maintaining all applicable environmental consents, authorizations, and statutory approvals, including EC, CTE, CTO, Hazardous Waste, BMW, CGWA/SGWB NOC, and other applicable permissions. The role is responsible for ensuring timely compliance with conditions stipulated by MoEF&CC, CPCB, SPCB, CGWA/SGWB, SEIAA/SEAC, and other regulatory authorities.

Job Responsibilities (KRA)
1.          Preparation, submission of application and obtaining of CTE, CTO, HW & BMW authorization (fresh/ renewal) etc. of all brownfield projects shall be done by respective plant team, with the help of Corporate Environment team to reply any critical point or resolve the critical issues related to the environment.

2.           Compliance of all the conditions mentioned in EC, CTE, CTO, HW & Other Wastes and BMW authorizations and CGWA/SGWB NOC obtained under Air, Water & EP Acts/ Rules.

3.           Maintaining of all the records and reports as per EC, CTE, CTO, HW & BMW Authorization CGWA/SGWB NOC and as per various environment related acts and rules. 

4.           Timely submission of various compliance reports/ returns related to EC, CTE, CTO, HW & BMW Authorization, CGWA/SGWB NOC, Battery Rules, E-waste rules etc.

5.           Coordination for site inspection/audit by government agency of SPCB, CPCB, MoEF&CC, CGWA/SGWB, SEIAA/SEAC or any other agencies shall be done by the respective plant team.

6.           Conducting water audit and Impact Assessments/ Comprehensive Hydrogeology Study  as per CGWA/SGWB requirement.

7.           Maintaining CEMS and CAAQMS availability as per CPCB guidelines, installation and maintaining digital flow meters and piezometers as per CGWA/SGWB requirement.

8.           Monitoring of stack emission and fugitive emission as per the norms prescribed by Central/ State Govt. agencies. 

9.           Monitoring of AAQ as per legal requirement, noise level, soil as per the requirement.

Qualification:  B.Sc / M.Sc /B.Tech/ MTech (Environment), 

Experience: 10-15 Yrs
